In 1996, Rob and his partners saw a great opportunity to be part of the renaissance of the Tanzanian construction sector.
In the early days, Rob led the Holtan team in various fit out jobs and maintenance projects that saw Holtan grow steadily.
Over 21 years Rob has managed the company through different seasons in the construction industry and broke into infrastructural projects that saw Holtan work with various international contractors.
The Trademark of quality that Holtan has become famous for is an attribute that Rob has firmly held throughout his managing capacity.
Mr. Hushedar Divwala

Hushedar is a construction professional with significant exposure to Project Management, Engineering, and Strategy Formulation, He is also a member of American Society of Civil Engineers and Project Management Institute.
He comes with enormous experience of 23 years in various construction portfolios. At HOLTAN his vast experience in Strategy formulation and Strategic management has provided Holtan with innovative approaches to industrial challenges and situations, while managing to inspire and motivate the HOLTAN Team.
Justin Roberts
Senior Project Manager
Justin has amassed a wealth of experience over twenty years of involvement in the construction industry having worked in different environments and nationalities. He is Experienced in Construction Management and Contract Management, an Expert at Project Planning, Project Execution and Project Delivery, and a member of the Project Management Institute and a certified Project Manager.
At Holtan, he heads a team of Project Managers that are met with high demands and expectations levels, but have throughout been able to maintain high performance standards.
Mariam Al-Jabiri
Strategic Human Resource Manager
Mariam is an award winner in Tanzania (HR Person of the Year in 2016) indicative of the high standards of Human Resource Management and welfare at Holtan.
She holds a LL.B (Tanzania) and is a Master in Human Resource Management, with over eight years of experience. In her time at Holtan, she has managed to ensure Holtan is recognized as one of the best Employers in Tanzania.
Srinivas Darapareddy
Procurement Manager
Srini is a dynamic high level professional with 18 years of experience in Procurement, International Logistics & Materials Management. He is a Certified Sourcing Manager and s experienced in ISO 9001, 14001 and 18001 procedures in Material Sourcing and logistics, International Procurement & Logistics. He holds a Master in Business Administration (India)
At HOLTAN he leads the day to day supplier management and engagement process, as well as inventory control in all the projects.
Raymond Mushi

Mr. Mushi holds a degree in Accounting (Tanzania) and has over 12 years of experience working in construction related environments.
He leads a team of qualified accountants in managing the company’s finances.
Roberto Bernabe
Workshop Manager
Mr Bernabe is a Civil Engineer by profession and has over 16 years’ experience in construction related environments. Bobby manages the Company Workshop which produces furniture and fit out components for the various projects undertaken by Holtan.
